The 6048 whirlpool bath is a classic design that accommodates two bathers sitting side by side. 10 jets massage the bather’s feet, legs, hips, knees, back and neck. Dual stacked back jets and sculptured arm rests are amenities that provide comfort and pleasure to each bather. For those who would like to have a whirlpool and shower in the same area, the 6048 whirlpool bathtub’s flat deck area and rectangular shape allows this jetted tub to have a shower designed over it accommodating either a shower door or curtain. Each jet eyeball is directional so the bather can select the area they want the jet to massage. The scalloped face of the jet can be rotated to increase or decrease the pressure and flow from the jet.
A three speed control (high, medium or low) is standard on all WaterTech Jacuzzi- style acrylic whirlpools and allows all jets pressure and flow to be controlled simultaneously. All neck and back jets are recessed in all whirlpool, combination and air baths. A free pulsating jet, interchangeable with any jet in the tub, is provided with each bath and can be changed out in a matter of seconds and delivers a rotating – pulsating massage action often found only in hot tubs and spas.
Watertech’s optional Fill and Drain faucet is extremely popular on all our baths and only available from Watertech. WaterTech bathtubs are constructed with a galvanized steel base (no wood – no plastic) to insure the floor of the bath will never flex or warp. Rigid PVC waterlines are U.L. certified for 100% drainage, insuring a clean and sanitary massage experience with every bath. There is a Lifetime warranty on the pump and acrylic bathtub shell. This 2 person 60X48 jacuzzi style tub has extra leg room and width. For those wanting even a deeper water depth, the bathtub can be ordered with an optional press-flow drain/overflow assembly that increases water depth an additional 3”.
